Laser Welding is one of the largest and most requested applications for laser technology today. LNA Laser Technology, well known for their industrial grade laser marking systems, is also at the forefront of developing advanced laser welding systems for manufacturing industries. Flexibility, reliability and performance is paramount with the LNA Compact Universal Multi-Axis Laser Welding Platform.
The system as shown, includes programmable X Y and Z axes for focus and weld alignment and a rotary axis for welding cylindrical parts. Laser power can range from 150 Watts up to 1 Kilowatt depending on material, weld penetration and production throughput requirements.
For the operator, the system is both ergonomic and user friendly. The motorized door is interlocked to prevent unsafe laser operation. The LNA Laser HMI allows a large number of welding recipes to be stored and selected as needed. The system incorporates a through the lens vision system to make part alignment and focus quick and easy. A few clicks on the touch screen display and the weld cycle is complete. The high precision optics, motion control and vision provides extremely reliable performance and part to part repeatability.
