Considerable importance was given to the study of the trolley made in order to allow the operator to make the brim of the wire to be drawn and the coupling to the traction chain in two distinct phases without the possibility of error and with one hand; in fact, the lever placed above the trolley blocks the wire on the pliers which give the particularity of working always parallel. Once the thread has been taken, the drawing can be started by pulling the anchorage lever to the chain. The mechanical limit switch automatically releases the drawing. The truck can be called by the operator who, by acting on the button, will operate a special motor for the automatic return of the safety hook. The "galle" type chain is double-edged with plates. The traction is carried out by a geared motor-reducer mounted on the chain return shaft. The die head is equipped with a tray for collecting the lubricating oil, the support of the beams is constructed in such a way as to house a recirculation tank for the oil through an adequate pump. The machine is equipped with accident prevention devices against wire breakage. The traction speed can be fixed or variable.
