The hood is used to separate the various metals contained in an alloy using acids. It is made out of PPL and equipped with electric ovens with changeable power (from 0 to 1700 W). Each oven can simultaneously heat up to 6 beakers containing acid. The hood is also fitted with internal suction and lighting.
