INGOT TROLLEY FOR SILVER ANODES TYPE CPL/AG

The ingot trolley is made up of welded section iron and is set on four wheels, two of which are motorized and run over two rails. It includes honeycomb gas heaters meant for ingot trays to produce no. 6 anodes of 5 Kgs. each one.

Clamping for the ingot trays, available on request, can be both mechanic and hydraulic. In the former case, ingot trays are clamped by a screw fastening, in the latter they are clamped by an hydraulic jack operated from an hydraulic switchboard of the tilting of the furnace. Approx. dimensions are 500x600x900 mm height.

The use is very simple; molten silver must be poured into the anode mould in order to form the anode requried for the refining unit..

SILVER REFINING PLANT AFF20/AG

This plant can refine up to 30 Kg of silver/day to a purity of 999/1000 and consists of :

Electrolytic silver refining tanks

• n°2 tanks - 275 lts capacity each one
• Cathodes
• Filter bags to contain the silver anodes /LI>
• Electric steel contacts
• Automatic silver discharge valve
• Each tank can refine 15 Kg of silver in 24 hours
• The tanks are positioned on a framework with stairs and gangway

Electrolytic tank

The IAAG electrolytic silver refining plants have 275 lt capacity refining cells and can hold up to 10 ingots weighing 8 kg each. The production of pure silver is of 15 kg every 24 hours with 80 grams/litres of AgNO₃.

The tank is fitted with:

• Stainless steel sheet cathodes;
• Antiacid filter bags to contain the silver anodes to be refined;
• Stainless steel electrical contacts;
• Trolley stirring mechanism provided with blades for the breakage of the irregular deposits;
• Suction hood equipped with door on hinges and connection pipe to the suction plant.

The electrolytic refining method for silver is the sole that can guarantee a purity of over 999.5. The units don’t require any particular maintenance and can work in a continuous cycle. The silver to be refined needs to be melted into an ingot/anode that can be hung on the anode bars and mustn’t have a purity below 700/1000.

This tank is fitted with a pump to recirculate the electrolytic solution

This tank is placed underneath the silver discharge device and recovers the silver crystals

CENTRIFUGAL HYDRO-EXTRACTOR TYPE IE/B1

The unit is used to rinse and dry silver slime and/or silver crystals.

The hydro-extractor is entirely built in stainless steel AISI 304, with a 450 mm diameter extractable basket, statically and dynamically balanced.

The holder of the basket, which turns at 900/rpm, is directly keyed on the motor shaft. The electric motor is supported by an independent suspension with a completely automatic control, and it is isolated from humidity.

The electromagnetic brakes operates directly on the motor, and therefore eliminates mechanical parts as levers, feods etc. Centrifugal operations starts by turning the knob of the timer. This machine is also provided with a double safety device that always stops the motor before opening the covers.

SILVER NITRATE PRODUCTION UNIT TYPE DGNH/C

Description

The plant is entirely built in stainless steel AISI 316 L. It is used for: A) Silver nitrate (AgNO3) production to feed the electrolytic refining tanks; The plant has a capacity from 80 to 120 l of acid solution. The solution is electrically heated and controlled by a temperature regulator. The plant is provided with:

• Tank containing three removable rotating baskets
• Tank for checking the total dissolution of the core (in case of you need to make hollowing operations)
• Tank for rinsing with water
• Polypropylene suction hood to be connected to a vapours neutralization tower.
• Double coil device for vapour condensing and for the reduction of acid consumption.

This device reduces the lowering of the liquid level also allowing a night use of the plant without any supervising by the operator. This machine can be used also for dissolving the copper or aluminium core in hollow gold and silver

NEUTRALIZATION TOWER FOR FUMES MODEL TLF/850

Description of the TLF/850 fume scrubber

The tower is used to neutralize fumes and remove organic substances. It is built out of polypropylene sheets. A sprayer is installed inside the tower to spray a 1300 mm thick layer of raschig rings.

In order to avoid drop dragging, a second 310 mm thick layer of raschig rings has been placed upstream to the sprayer.

A neutralization solution container is placed beneath the tower. The solution circulation pump has a capacity of 55 Lts/1' with a head of 6 m. The suction fan has a max capacity of 2000 m³/hour.
